New businesses in the neighborhood
As I was walking to get a haircut I noticed a couple new businesses … Stem, what looks to be a high end flower shop is now open and it looks like the beer garden is just about ready to open it’s doors.

As I’ve stated before… I don’t provide addresses. I consciously try not make this some kind of TimeOut guide to FG. Either walk around and explore OR take two seconds out of your day and google “Fort Greene Beer Garden”.
The place in question is at the intersection of Greene, South Oxford, Hanson and Fulton; the site of the former hardware store.
I’m curious how they’re getting away with labeling it a beer garden. Maybe they secured rights to putting out chairs/tables and planters in the pedestrian triangle in front of the store. That said, I’m looking forward to checking it out.
I took Carlton’s advice and Googled it.
apparently it will have communal tables, sidewalk seating, and a small garden out back.
